Your kids are just a reflection of you!
By Theo Handen
Part of being successful in any aspect of life comes from your immediate nuturing. Unfortunatley for many kids they are already against the grain. Too many parents simply plonk their kids in front of a TV or a nintendo DS and let them entertain themselves. How can your kids become successful when all they do is get hypnotised by tv and multimedia? I was brought up to think for myself to work things out for myself whilst still having the right balance of fun and games, and being encourages that I can achieve anything I want Setting up buiness and being a self starter is somthing that can come from your direct nuturing, if you as aparent can't manage yourself how can you manage your kids? And since kids are 'monkey see, monkey do' by nature they will unfortunatley pick up your negative habbits. By 30 years old we can potentailly have 263,000 hours of negative conditioning, which is usually oblivious to us and hard to change. I say set high expectations of your kids, give them the time and interaction they so badly need and you will be amazed at how they grow. If you just treat them with more expectation, not pressure the rest falls in to place naturally |

Great intel Theo.We need more of this advise to parents and grandparents. Keep up the great intels. Frederick
I think that most of us only realise how much we are our parents when we reach 30 or beyond. It took me many years to understand why I am how I am and who I am, and that many of my traits I copied from my Mother or Father. It is important for parents to understand this, and to hopefully steer their children in the right direction, so that they become the best that they can be when they grow up.
